Three Days
Every camper completes Josh's three-day Onewheel arc: one program, not separate tracks. All riding levels are welcome; coaching meets you where you are on Day 1. Each day stacks: board feel and control, trail flow and race lines, then Amped-week integration.
Board feel, body position, carving, and controlled braking. Lock in fundamentals so speed and terrain later have a clean base.
Technical terrain, line choice, and patient speed: the trail-racing approach Josh rides at USA FLT and Open events.
Integrate skills into your race style and leave with a clear plan for Amped weekend and the season ahead.
Your Coaches
Josh Ledford is a Knoxville-based Onewheel racer known for patient, technical trail riding. His background in snowboarding and wake skating built the board feel, balance, and line reading he brings to float racing. He started riding after spotting an Onewheel in Denver around 2019, ordered an XR within a year, and was racing soon after.
Five years into competition, Josh thrives on technical, feature-heavy courses that reward precision over raw speed. He recently moved from FM into Open and took the Open win at Wheelscorcher (Fire Mountain Trails). Currently ranked 1st in USA FLT Men's Pro, he coaches the way he races: clear progressions, terrain-first decisions, and community-minded energy.
At Camp Amped Onewheel, Josh leads rider education and video review with a race-week focus, helping every rider get safer, smoother, and more confident before Amped Electric Games. Read his USA FLT profile →
Assistant Coach
Sarah Meeker races out of Baltimore, MD, with a preference for technical trail riding. She's been on a board since 2020, and true to form, signed up for the Pro class in her very first race, at Dirt Surfers, after only about a week of riding. She finished 20 minutes behind the field that day and has worked her way up steadily every year since.
Before Onewheel, Sarah trained as a classical ballerina with a background in musical theater, and she's candid about the adjustment: learning to break away from the group instead of staying in sync with it. That instinct now shows up in how she races, chasing personal goals over placements. At Lemonade Float Fest 2026, she took 2nd and counted it a win not for the podium spot but for closing the gap on her target time. Currently ranked 1st in USA FLT Women's Pro.
At Camp Amped Onewheel, Sarah supports rider education and on-trail coaching alongside Josh, bringing a technical-trail and progress-focused perspective that helps every rider get safer, smoother, and more confident before Amped Electric Games. Read her USA FLT profile →
What's Included
Each afternoon, coaches break down your day's footage on-screen. You see exactly what's working, what's not, and what the correction plan is for tomorrow morning.
Lunch is included each camp day, plus a hydration station on track all day. Midday breaks include equipment charging and recovery; coaches weave in fueling and hydration focus throughout camp.
Dedicated charging time is built into every midday break. Bring your charger - we provide the outlets and protected charging stations on-site.
Day 3 closes with a personal roadmap for what comes next - specific skills to keep building and a direct path toward competing in Amped Electric Games sanctioned events.
The Curriculum
No timed racing. No filler. Riding sessions are filmed, then reviewed in an end-of-day video classroom so corrections carry straight into the next morning. This is the loop that actually builds riders.
